Between municipal and county parks, there are many outdoor recreational areas in Edison for you to host your party.
Township Parks
There are 3 municipal parks in Edison with picnic groves:

Yelencsics Park
Elder Park, at Grove Avenue and Firethorn Drive, features the Minnie B. Veal Community Center. It also has a playground, basketball court, and a softball field.
At Central Avenue and Linden Avenue, Papaianni Park offers basketball and tennis courts, and football, soccer, and softball fields. There's also a playground and small lake in the park.
On Woodbridge Avenue, Yelencsics Park offers shuffleboard and 2 bocci courts. There's basketball and volleyball courts, and a softball field.
Middlesex County Parks
There is one county park in Edison that offers picnic groves: Roosevelt Park, on Parsonage Road.
Roosevelt Park was established over 100 years ago, in 1917, and is large: 196 acres.
The park features numerous picnic groves, along with basketball and tennis courts, a softball field, multiuse paths and trails, and an 8-acre lake.
It is where Middlesex County's Plays in the Park are presented, with 3 full-length musicals each summer.
To use the picnic groves in any Middlesex County park, you must make online reservations at least 2 weeks before the date of your event.

We'll deliver most of what you need for a great party, but you'll have to supply the food. Here are some local restaurants that have catering menus.
Café Gallo
If you want traditional Italian food for your event, check out Café Gallo. Their catering menu is large and varied, with 3- and 6-foot subs, paninis and focaccia sandwiches, wraps, and trays of Italian favorites.
Sunshine Grill & Deli
The Sunshine Grill & Deli offers breakfast items on their catering menu, along with subs, burgers, and sliders.
Mejwaani
Mejwaani serves up traditional Maharashtrian cuisine, a subset of Indian cuisine that refers to Maharashtra, a state in India. They offer vegetarian, meat, and seafood dishes with varying levels of spice and heat.
LouCás
Another great option for Italian food, LouCás is the result of 2 chefs teaming up to create a fine restaurant. They specialize in seafood, though they offer a wide range of dishes.
